Igbobi College Old Boys' Association Announces Plans for 76th College Anniversary |

Igbobi College Old Boys' Association (ICOBA) has announced plans to commemorate the 76th Founders Anniversary of the College.
In a statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Mr. Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, the anniversary celebrations, will kick off with a Communion Service on Saturday February 2, 2008 at 8:00am at the Canon Parker Chapel, Igbobi College. This will be followed by a Thanksgiving Service at 10.00am on Sunday February 3, 2008 at the same venue, while activities will be rounded off immediately after the service, with the annual Luncheon and presentation of Merit Awards to selected old boys in recognition of their contributions to the college, their profession and nation. The Luncheon and Award ceremony will hold at the Angus Memorial Hall, Igbobi College. Award recipients will include the Governor of Lagos State, Governor Raji Babatunde Fashola (SAN), former President of ICOBA and outgoing Managing Director of Sterling Bank Plc, Mr. Babatunde Dabiri, former Commissioner of Health and Education respectively in Lagos State, Dr Leke Pitan. Seats for the Luncheon will cost five thousand naira per head and can be purchased through the different class sets or at the venue. Also speaking on the anniversary, the Secretary General of the Association, Mr. Kayode Adeluola said that the members of the association are proud to have passed through such a great institution and owe a debt of gratitude to the college for moulding their lives.
