How Ravissant’s collections played out

Ravissant Mode’s perception of the African print is very unique and encouraging, this was evident, when she presented her 2007/ 2008 collections in a glam affair last weekend at the Expo hall of the Eko hotel and Suites Lagos.

The collections showcased the beauty and versatility of the African fabric , transformed to exclusive western cuts in ultimately wearable pieces.

For Princess Latifat Lamolitte CEO of Ravissant Mode, it was a platform to showcase Africa particularly
Nigeria to the fashion world, "for them to see what we have got by working with our own fabrics."

It was a colourful event that featured exciting outfits for all occasions from social, society events, seasonal and casual wears to traditional wears. It also featured the kiddies segment, with kids doing
their stuff on stage showcasing the various cool collections for children, all done with African fabric with a blend of western cuts

The event which was witnessed by important personalities in the fashion and business world as well as foreign expatriates, lighted up with comedy and other side attractions.
