Mo Abudu, entrepreneur and HR consultant, recently stretched beyond a terrain that she is known for, when she moved to  television, with the debut of her TV talk show Mo-ments with Mo on M-NET.

And to announce the show to the world, a grand launch was held last weekend at the Civic Centre in Victoria Island . The  red carpet event that was  meant to give people an idea of what they were in for, was witnessed by special guests from the first season amongst other style personalties.

There were clips of the show and a special  musical performance by America’s Angie Stone, supported by our own Nigerian acts, Timi Dakolo and Temitayo George.

According to Mo each episode of  Mo - ments with Mo Abudu, “highlights the life and accomplishments of a usually well known, but sometimes an undiscovered African individual who by his or her own tenacity and determination has accomplished something, overcome something or been a catalyst for something that makes her or him a role model to others.”

Aired weekly, the show  showcases the best Africa has to offer. Looking at the achievements of many Africans that have made a difference. Telling the untold stories of their victories and some of our challenges, but shown in a manner that will inspire and educate rather than the usual doom and gloom constantly portrayed by the Western media.
