Satin  no doubt has evolved  from bridal gown fabrics, bridesmaids dress and in some cases mere table decorative clothing to one of fashion’s most sought after fabrics. And why not? It is  lush, luxurious and lovely, little wonder designers and fashionistas are falling for the charms of the satin every fashion season.

Lovely Satin Combination by Ndidi Jibuno
More ladies are embracing  this lovely fabric especially for evening gigs.  However for a more corporate and daytime look, pair a black satin shirt or blouse with a floral print skirt. A combination which can also go from day to night.  Add a touch to your outfit with detailing it could be on  shoes or a cute necklace, your bag and even headbands. Or go the whole hog in a satin mini dress and pair with a satin detailed sling back sandals.

Inject some luxe into your local ankara  with a satin detail design, it could be quilted and ruffled or folded and drabbed, as  waist band for that western effect.

These days, satin is also tailored as nipped in jackets, shirts and skirts. They are worn in deep bold colours, emerald, saffron fuchsia, red deep pink etc.

But  remember to pair your bold colour satin with cool colours linen, jeans etc for day time. Whatever you choose, satin is the easiest way to inject some luxery into your look .this season.
