FEC approves 1.4Billion for HIV/AIDS |

The Federal Executive Council has approved N1.4billion for the purchase of 200 Kits that will make it possible to test two hundred and fifty thousand Nigerians for HIV/AIDS preparatory to the provision of free Anti retroviral drugs for patients the disease.
The Minister of Health, Professor Adenika Grange, who disclosed this to state House correspondents at the end of the meeting of the FEC said the federal government was committed to ensuring the drastic reduction in the cases of HIV/AIDS in the country. The Minister added that the lack of testing kits was greatly hampering the federal government’s fight against AIDS.
