“See, you are making things difficult for all of us”

“It is you who are making things hard; or how can you insist on being the first lady, when I am around?”

“But I am the first; I accompanied him during the campaign”

“We all have a share in that victory, please”

“I hope you all know that I am nobody’s mate here? I am doctor of repute”

“And I am a justice of the Federal High court”

“And I hold a Phd too”

“I hope you know that I am highly educated?”

“Its okay, my ladies, what’s the war all about?

“Of course, it’s about your first lady”

“But so far, I have not declared any one of you to be my first lady”

“And that’s the problem with you. You are a coward because you are scared to tell them I am the one and only first lady and that the rest can go to hell”

“Oh I have just thought of it, you are the first lady”

“Oh stop that! What about me?”

“I was actually meaning to say that you are the first lady”

“I am waiting, look me in the face and say that crap to me!”

“But if you want the truth, you are my only first lady”

“Did I hear you well, Murtala, what am I then if all of them are your first lady?

“I was thinking now that you are the actual first lady

“So what are you saying about all of us now? I don’t understand!”

“That all of you are my first lady, that’s what I am saying”

“No, no, you know that you can’t have four first ladies. Abuja recognizes only one. I want you to say hear now, who is the first lady, the second lady, the third and the fourth among us, because I won’t tolerate any body stepping into my territory.
“Lets take it this way; You Binta, you are in charge of Abuja Affairs, you Halima in charge of Health, and you Zainab in charge of Political Affairs and Mobilisation, and finally, you Asmau, you are in charge of the Home Affairs”.

“That’s good”

“No, no. it’s a lie”

“No, I won’t agree to that”

“You can’t do that to me, Abuja is the in thing”

“But I am going to take care of all of you, and every one of you would enjoy as the wife of the governor. You would enjoy
cars, houses, staff and offices and many more. Just cool down, and don’t let this spill to the public”

“What’s the problem here, sir, why is everyone shouting and bickering?

“Hei, hei, intruder, you better go away, what’s your own, who invited you here? This is a family affair”

“Oh, this is not about PDP sir, it is about the use of state funds, which the people of the Adamawa state and Nigerians have the right to know about”

“But I am not using anybody’s fund for this”

"You can tell that to the marine, Admiral, how do you intend to fund them, through the proceeds from your farms? The people of this state want you not to start your government by fighting over the spoils of war. You better keep your wives out of it, and start making us feel your infrastructures and developmental activities".
