Tracynither

Nigeria’s soukous and reggae Queen, Tracynither, takes the bull by the horn as she takes a personal tour of the 36 states country, with original copies of her album and her message of hope and war against corruption to the door steps of her fans.

The main aim of this road show she says, “is to promote and create awareness of my debut album ''reality''.

The road show which kicked off on Saturday, the 8th at the federal capital territory Abuja, before proceeding to other states, will end with a grand performance in Lagos on the 14th of September 2007.

Tracynither Nicolas who calls herself a social crusader, sings for the emancipation of the downtrodden.

“As a social crusader, my music preaches against societal ills, corruption in government and also promotes and appreciates women worldwide for the important roles they play in our lives, families and the society at large” she says.

She is of the opinion that Nigerian women should be given the opportunity and support to harness their God given talents and excel in their various careers, “especially in the entertainment industry where many upcoming female artistes give up daily on their music career due to lack of funds and financial encouragement from organizations and well meaning Nigerians”

The Literature foreign languages and graduate from the university of Port Harcourt, who sings in English and French, has a strong belief in Nigeria and the social change that can be achieved in our society through music.
