Kalu's trial adjourned to October

Abuja - A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja today adjourned hearing on the trial of former Abia Governor Uzor Kalu to October 9, 2007. Justice Babs Kuewumi adjourned the case to allow for further hearing on an application seeking to extirpate the 107-count charge against the ex-governor.

Uzor Kalu is standing trial for alleged money laundering and stealing of billions of Naira of Abia State's funds.
