The HOUSE OF FINICKY which began effectively eighteen years ago, went into a period of hibernation between 1997 when the company was fully incorporated and 2004. However, with a change of management, improvement in technology, direction and renewal of purpose; the house is set to pull her weight in the fashion industry.

And it was a  feast of gowns and jewellery, crop jackets on flowing skits, in striking, blazing colors and beautifully crafted designs, last weekend in Lagos, as Finicky made a big come back to the industry with a preview of her latest collection shown  to a selected audience. The collection tagged Colours of
Nature were created from a variety of  fabrics like silk, satin, taffeta, tulle, chiffon, organza, indigo (dyed African cloth) ankara & prints, silk aso- oke and other dyed fabrics to create breathtaking, unique and original designs.

This latest collection from House of Finicky, introduces a desirable fashion range for women of style. According to Jewe Utoh Head Designer behind the fashion label FINICKY, her  running theme is beauty, elegance and grace which she tries to capture in every garment she makes “because it is our strong belief that every woman regardless of her station is royal and therefore should look and be regarded as such.”

And for the Designer, it is her desire and strong belief that designs and garments from the HOUSE OF FINICKY will reach beyond Africa into the hearts of other continents.
