Uche Nwaezeakpu is Gulder Ultimate Man VI Print E-mail

After three weeks of intense contest in the Omodo Forest in Osun State, Uche Nwaezeakpu has emerged the sixth successive Gulder Ultimate Man by unearthing the Horn of Valour to succeed Michael Nwachukwu who found the Lost Chronicle in the fifth edition of the reality TV Show.

Uche began the search for the Horn of Valour with Vivian Okafor, Elvis Abogu, Adaeze Nwogu, Chisom Egemasi, Deborah Omekhigien, Olawale Akanbi, Chuks Okorji, Oseyiomon Okoh and fellow finalist Melvin Oduah.

Ultimately, as viewers of the show can testify, it was not a jolly good time in the forest for the contestants as they were drenched on their very first day in the forest when they were still struggling with setting up a tent to house them.

One after the other, the contestants were evicted based on their performances in the various tasks given to them in the jungle. Some of the eviction period were emotion ladened moments for both fellow contestants and the viewing audience. Most notable of the evictions was that of Olawale Akanbi who was originally touted to emerge the ultimate man but didn't
last half the time in the jungle.

Half way through the contest, seven out of every ten follower of the GUS VI would have voted Melvin to win the ultimate prize but as it eventually turned out, the 'first' came last and vice versa which seem to have been the trend for the past three or four editions of the show.

Surely, Uche has now joined the league of millionaires as he got N7million, a brand new jeep and N500,000 wardrobe allowance. The Last Girl Standing, Chisom Egemasi was also inducted into the millionaires club as she won an extra N2million for being the last girl standing.

In all, majority of all that saw, even one of the episodes, would agree that it made for interesting viewing on television and as we look forward to the next edition of the show, we can't but wish the Uche Nwaezeakpu best of lucks.
