M.I, Faze, Mo Hits crew, others for Green White Green Carnival

This year's celebration of democracy day here in Nigeria which happens to fall on a friday is sure going to be an extra-ordinary one, not with the number of entertaining shows already being put together by different outfits. One of these democracy day events is the Green White Green Carnival which is scheduled to hold on the 29th of May at the Oniru Private Beach. It is being put together by a Lagos based entertainment outfit, 411 Entertainment.

The carnival is, uniquely, not going to be about music alone but cultural displays, Trade expo, Beach games will also be part of it.

Meanwhile, organisers of the event have got an intimidating list of 'A-List' entertainers from within and outside the country. Some of the artistes expected to mount the podium at the event are, M.I, Faze, Timaya, KC Presh, the Mo Hits All Stars, J Martins, Weird MC, Bouqui, Kel and M Trill.

Others are Ibo boy Ill Bliss, General Pype, Nigeria's youngest musician, Fatai Rolling Dollar, Sheyman and Dr Pat, Raskimono, Klever Jay, Morachi, Bigiano, Project Fame's Dorcas Yeboah from Ghana, Terry G, DJ Zeez, Goldie, Annette Cookey, Deebeed, Raskimono, LKT, Rasqui, Brymo amongst others.

The carnival is expected to attract exhibitors, tourists including international media coverage all in celebration and promotion of the Nigerian brand to the international community. Akpojotor Gbemre, CEO of 411 Entertainment believes, "there is no better way to rebrand Nigeria than creating an entertainment platform for thousands of Nigerians to come out en masse tying a green white green muffler around their neck to celebrate Nigeria as a unique country".

About the green white green muffler, everybody attending the event, which will be holding annually, must wear it as it is the pass to the event.
