The Nigeria Football Association (NAF) has said it would work with coach Ladan Bosso in the area of making Flying Eagles a more lethal team as they march into the knockout stage of the FIFA Under-20.
NFA’s assistant secretary on technical matters, James Peters told journalists that worries being expressed by Nigerians over the inability of the Flying Eagles strikers to convert the numerous goal-scoring chances that came their way in the group matches would be a thing of the past as moves were being made to ensure the striker finish up the work by scoring. "It is true that the boys could have scored in today's (Saturday) match but you saw that the Japanese also lost some scoring chances. We are going to work on that. The team went through some transformation but I can assure you that everything will be okay", Peters said. Quote this article on your site | Print | E-mail
