Tony Tetuila Undoubtedly, the nigerian music industry have come quite a long way. Tony Tetuila's latest music video helped drive that point home in my usually stubborn skull.
Watching that music video a couple of days ago, I couldn't help to imagine what Tony himself would have to say if asked to compare the music video to the one he did for 'My Car' years back. The video titled 'Do Re Mi' is a giant leap forward from what we've been seeing from the former member of The Remedies group. I guess this is a reaction to the trend in music market of present day Nigeria...no one can afford to lag behind. The video featuring MP was shot at a location that couldn't be anywhere within Nigeria...not with the line-up of dancers who are most likely South Africans. Except one gets the chance to ask Tetuila himself, we might not know what the song is really about...even the presenter that played the video admitted not getting anything from the song except the chorus. That notwithstanding, the song should sure be a hit with Dee Jays across the country...it will sure get any gathering of youngsters swinging. Sorry I have to say this again, my heart bleeds everytime I see music Videos of Nigerian artistes that are shot in other countries...I mean, we oughta be selling our country to the world and not vice versa.
