Tony Tetuila Steps up with 'Do Re Mi'

Undoubtedly, the nigerian music industry have come quite a long way. Tony Tetuila's latest music video helped drive that point home in my usually stubborn skull.

Watching that music video a couple of days ago, I couldn't help to imagine what Tony himself would have to say if asked to compare the music video to the one he did for 'My Car' years back.

The video titled 'Do Re Mi' is a giant leap forward from what we've been seeing from the former member of The Remedies group. I guess this is a reaction to the trend in music market of present day Nigeria...no one can afford to lag behind.

Do Re Mi

The video featuring MP was shot at a location that couldn't be anywhere within Nigeria...not with the line-up of dancers who are most likely South Africans.

Except one gets the chance to ask Tetuila himself, we might not know what the song is really about...even the presenter that played the video admitted not getting anything from the song except the chorus.

That notwithstanding, the song should sure be a hit with Dee Jays across the country...it will sure get any gathering of youngsters swinging.

Sorry I have to say this again, my heart bleeds everytime I see music Videos of Nigerian artistes that are shot in other countries...I mean, we oughta be selling our country to the world and not vice versa.

	im back again... simply the song means wat we adults all kno...mo fe do re mi faso lati "do" pronounced the yoruba way ...of course it is i want to sex u up..sorry y'all but thats a fact...the strings of do re mi is just to get along with airplay on radio and t.v and leads to do...sex.. The video has been on youtube for about 3months now,,for likeable fellows like Tony whom with remedies started the hip hop thing..he should put more efforts in delivery and also his cathcy chorus of like before..."this one is no where near" just like old boring speeches rhymin on songs...i like Tony for his friendly ways and the way he proved he is a hit maker in early 2000's but the way only 2face remains in the scene with hits and more understandin of the game...the tetuilas and Eddy montanas have just faded away maybe they need young guys to write for them....

	wack song 'do re mi' is a very wack song, any artiste doing a song like dat is wasting his money becos there r betta materials in d 9ja music scene.we have good producers like cobhams,ojb,terry g and e-trax in port harcourt holdin it down..why he chose 2 do a song dis wack is an indication he lacks wat it takes 2 b relevant in d present 9ja music scene..tetuila cannot compare wit d top-notch acts like darey,asa,faze,2face,p square,9ice,timaya..d game is 2 tight 2 b so untalented..very bad work by tetuila.
