Nigeria's newest telecommunications outfit Etisalat continues to cause major ripples in the country following its sponsorship deal with the Nigerian Women's League worth about half a billion Naira.
According to the Nigeria Football Federation Secretary General, Dr. Bolaji Ojo-Oba said Etisalat would be starting its involvement with Nigerian football with the lucrative deal as the official telecoms partner of the Women's league.
Also, the NFF Secretary General made known another lucrative deal with FinBank; formerly First Inland Bank, that would be worth over N1b to become the official Bank of the NFF.
These deals come on the heels of the Nigeria Premier League receiving about N800m from title sponsors Globacom as part of the National Communications Carrier's commitment to the league.
