We are the first company to look at street soccer and decide to harmonise it to make it something everyone could be proud of, as we are currently doing with the Lagos State Street Soccer Championships. We are the first company to take up the mantle of sponsorship of the African Cup of Nations. We are also sponsoring the ongoing CAF Champions League.” According to him, plans are already at advanced stage to open more Fan Zones across the country. While Lagos has seven zones located at Goddey cinema Ajegunle, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, WDC (Women Development Center) Pen cinema Agege, University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba, Oldskool, (Festac), The Place, (GRA Ikeja), and Thistle Bar, (Victoria Island), other centres would be opened in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Enugu and Onitsha. “MTN Fan Zone is much more than a viewing centre where you watch your favourite football matches. At MTN Fan Zone, you pass contacts with your friends and your business associates; networking your way to your gooooals! MTN Fan Zone is a perfect match for your passion and aspiration. Discover the MTN Fan Zone in your hood,” Oyeyemi added.
