Enyimba rose to second on the Glaobacom Premier League table after a 1-0 win over JUTH FC of Jos in the Rwang Pam Stadium; the Aba Elephants third match in this season's league.

Having won its first two rescheduled matches, Enyimba increased its points haul to nine points with the win at Jos to leave the Aba Elephants three points behind leaders Kaduna United and ahead of archrivals Rangers on goal difference.

Both Eastern clubs were scheduled to meet in this weekend's round of matches in Aba but the Nigeria Football League has postponed the encounter to allow Enyimba prepare adequately for the CAF Champions League semi-final second leg against Al Ahly in Cairo.

It leaves Enyimba with two outstanding matches to play against Rangers and Lobi Stars of Makurdi. The Aba Elephants will remain in Jos preparing for the semi-final clash with Al Ahly.

Another match postponed by the NFL is the Bayelsa derby between Balyelsa United and Ocean Boys due to the visit of Portuguese club Boavista to the country on the aegis of the Bayelsa State Government.

Boavista is expected to play friendly matches against Bayelsa United and a football academy side; shifting Bayelsa's derby against Ocean Boys to October 15.

Meanwhile, week five matches of the Globacom Premier League have been shifted to Sunday October 12 from Saturday due to Nigeria's 2010 World and Nations Cup qualifying match against Sierra Leone in Abuja.
