Defending champions North Korea begin their title defence in Group D against Brazil, bronze medal winners from the last edition held in Russia in 2006. Other countries in the group are Norway and Mexico.
The United States and China, semi-finalists from Russia 2006 and long-time rivals on the women's football stage, face off in Group B which also has Argentina and France.
In Group C, 2004 winners Germany come up against 2002 host and losing finalist Canada as well as Africa's other representatives DR Congo and Asians Japan.
The FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup begins on November 19, three days after the U-17 version and runs through to December 7.
