Newly promoted Kaduna United is now the only club in the Globacom Premier League with a perfect record after four rounds following its 2-0 win over FC Abuja at the Old Parade Ground in the Nigerian capital.
The win puts Kaduna on maximum 12 points ahead of previously undefeated Rangers on nine points as the Enugu club was beaten 2-0 at Nasarawa United.
Sunshine Stars meanwhile missed the opportunity to go second after losing in Monday evening's kick-off at Ocean Boys, staying on seven points.
In other results, champions Kano Pillars gained its second win of the season with a 2-0 win over Warri Wolves and move within a point of the Delta State club as well as a host of other clubs on seven points.
Among them are Wikki Tourist that beat Gateway of Abeokuta 2-0 in Bauchi and Bayelsa United that drew 1-1 at Sharks in Port-Harcourt. The other club on seven point is Zamfara United that claimed a goalless draw from its trip to bottom club Niger Tornadoes which has only one point from four matches.
