The passports of players with the national U-20 team that defeated Sudan in an African Youth Championship qualifier on Saturday, have resurfaced after being supposedly stolen by robbers at gunpoint in Abuja.

Apparently, the official in possession of the passports had infact forgotten them in the cab that brought him to the National Stadium rather than his story of being robbed on the way to the Stadium.

The passports were eventually brought to the Stadium by the cab driver himself who spotted the forgotten passports on the car seats and turned around to get them to the Stadium on realising they were for the Flying Eagles' players.

Meanwhile, officials of the Nigeria Football Federation will embark on a trip to London to "commiserate" with certain members of the Super Eagles that missed the last qualifier against South Africa.

The delegation led by NFF Chairman Sani Lulu would also stop over at Old Trafford to see Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson concerning the proposed understudy of Ferguson by Super Eagles coach Shuaibu Amodu before departing for Germany for a meeting with Adidas, which kits Nigeria's national teams.
