Hull City created a major upset in its maiden campaign in the Premier League, coming from behind to defeat Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
Paul McShane had given Arsenal the lead early in the second half with an own goal after a goalless first half but further Hull strikes from Daniel Cousin and Geovanni sealed a memorable win for the Tigers.
William Gallas had an effort crash off the bar in the 83rd minute while Francesc Fabregas, who put McShane on pressure for Arsenal's opening goal, pulled off a good save from Hull keeper Boaz Myhill.
The win lifts Hull to sixth place on the league table with 10 points while Arsenal fall to fourth on 12 points, two behind Chelsea and Liverpool and one behind Aston Villa in third.
