It was a weekend for the away clubs to pick the points in the Globacom Premier League as newly promoted Kaduna United and Rangers of Enugu lead with six points after two rounds.

Kaduna, 2-1 winners over defending league champions Kano Pillars last weekend, replicated the result on its trip to last season's title contenders Niger Tornadoes in Minna.

Rangers meanwhile is second on inferior goals to Kaduna United after edging Akwa United 1-0 in Uyo. Sunshine Stars and newly promoted Warri Wolves follow with Sunshine coming out from the nation's capital with a 3-1 win over FC Abuja while Wolves beat Zamfara United 2-0 in Warri.

In other results, Sharks of Port-Harcourt registered its first win of the season by beating Naze millionaires Heartland 1-0 and same result played out at Bauchi in Wikki Tourists win over former league leaders Bayelsa United.

Defending league champions Kano Pillars edged out Gateway of Abeokuta 2-1 at the Sani Abacha Stadium for its first win while Nasarawa United beat Lobi Stars 2-0 and Ocean Boys was held to a 1-1 draw by Gombe United.
