There is nothing left on media in describing the state of health of the (s)elected president of Nigeria, Alhaji Musa Yar’Adua. The ears are deafened and tongues continue to wag in many official and unofficial parliaments of the federation especially the bus-stop parliament. And I have been abashed with the insults meted out on the president because of his alleged failing health. The presidency is in the denial wing that the president is hale and hearty, and I seem to concur with it.

I don’t think that Mr. President is sick, different from many sicknesses we sick as individuals. Some of us have various kinds of untreated sicknesses. And we seem to hide it from the public knowledge. Perhaps, because, we are not occupying any significant position in Nigeria.

I am yet to agree that all the people occupying government positions in Nigeria are hale and hearty. Did ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo not tell Nigerians once upon a time that he was sick of diabetes of over 20yrs old? But that was not enough before we noticed that he was sick of hoodwinking political foes and developed a career in perpetrating mischief on discerned enemies.

While Yar’Adua may be battling with his kind of ailment, casting vituperations on his person is asking his God, why was he created?

Alhaji Yar’Adua has argued before that he will beat any person in the game of squash and challenged his detractors to come forward. But it seemed that no one was interested to come forward but rather people now hide under the influence of the media to insult a man who has never been caught of financial misappropriation, scandal of office or any of such offensive behaviours which are against the laid constitutional ethos of our country.

I would rather prefer a sick president to rule Nigeria than a hale and hearty president who is corrupt to rule. Obasanjo was fingered to be corrupt when he was president. If we doubt this, we may go inquire from Chief Gani the SAN how corrupt Obasanjo was or we make a u-turn to Chief Falana to inquire.

I am yet to believe that a sane sick person President Yar’Adua can not carry out his functional routine chores especially when they concern writing. But I have already acceded that a corrupt person can not work very well because he had already had corruption at heart and cannot do tall things for the betterment of the people he was mandated to lead other than corruption.

I believe that those who are now fighting the president because of his uncertain illness are people who still want Nigeria to continue trailing on the mud-waters of incivility. The president is praised by many Nigerians to be working than Nigeria had ever experienced. And these set of people might be the people who grow fat through contract wages. They abandon contracts.

So was it when Yar’Adua was saddled with the Katsina leadership. A lot of people doubted his healthiness, but he surmounted all odds of eight years as the governor of Katsina State.

Though the means he came to the presidency might not be credible, but I believe he is healthier than Obasanjo. At least, Nigerians are yet to experience any political killings under Yar’Adua, while it was replete during Obasanjo administration. So, among the two we have reason to see who is healthy when it comes to governance.

Yar’Adua Is Healthier Than Obasanjo
Obasanjo is not only politically sick, he is morally, socially and mentally sick. If not while should a whole president descend so low as to having sexual relationship with his daughter in law ( Son's Wife). Obasanjo is yet to refute that claim by his son that he is having that dual and devil relationship with his wife. We are yet to read any rumour of Yar'Adua's second wife, concubine or any reject (bastard) child compare thousands of Obasanjo's that cut across the Naija world let alone having an INCEST with his sons's wife. I will prefer a sick Yar'Adua to a Rabist and Rapist mania like Obasanjo to continuing ruling my loved Country.
