Enyimba's crunch CAF Champions League encounter against Al Hilal of Sudan at the Aba Township Stadium has been postponed to Monday September 15 following a heavy downpour that rendered the pitch at Aba unplayable.
The match was earlier scheluled for Sunday with both sides needing a win to boost their respective chances of making the semi-final stage of Africa's elite club competition. The game will begin at 4p.m Nigerian time.
The other Group B match between TP Mazembe and Coton Sport saw the former win 2-0 and throw the group wide open with TP Mazembe now leading the group with seven points ahead of Coton Sport on goal difference while Enyimba has six points and Al-Hilal have five.
Meanwhile in Group A, FC Dynamos moved to second spot on six points following a surprise 2-1 win away at ASEC Mimosas in Abidjan, leaving the Ivorian club bottom with five points.
The result in Abidjan also left the second semi-final spot open for grabs for the other three clubs after archrivals Zamalek and Al-Ahly played out a 2-2 draw, which seals top spot for Ahly and leaves Zamalek in third place with five points.
