Bags are getting bigger

If you find yourself in a fashion rut most of the time, that is you always have a problem picking the right outfit for any occasion, all you need to do make sure you have all the basics to build a stylish wardrobe that will see you through work, casual and weekend.

Here is a list of basic fashion items compiled to ensure women become more focussed on the key elements of their wardrobe, thereby reducing the number of fashion mistakes they make. Read on for the full checklist...

Black short jacket, Little Black dress, A pair of Jeans, Flat Knot Cuff.... Have you got these?

We recommend that every woman's wardrobe contain the following:

One LBD (Little Black Dress)
One statement handbag and an envelope shaped clutch, for evening.
At least two pairs of jeans —one wide-legged and one fitted / slim fit
Several great day dresses
Three skirts–A line– Pencil and in neutral fabric.
Long sleeved T-shirts, in various weights. Colours must include black, grey, white and navy
Two vest tops — in black and white and two short sleeved T-shirts in black and white
Two pairs of trousers — one black "man-style" with narrow legs to the ankle; one wider-legged, long and flat fronted to wear with heels
One white shirt — fitted short or , it can be longer and fitted
One colourful or embellished evening dress
One quality suit–Could be a skit or trouser suit.
One jacket that goes with your trousers
One light jacket to wear over dresses
A collection of fun costume jewelry —high street and vintage
Several pairs of sunglasses —including one statement pair
One pair of wild look-at-me high heels
Medium-height heels in black
Flat loafers, ballet pumps and flip flops

Getting the basics right means you can create a fantastic look by adding a statement jacket, bag or pair of shoes. Here, the idea is to let you have lots of fun shopping for them.
