AY, Freestyle & Jim Iyke Win Teens Favourite Awards

This year's edition of the Annual Teen's Favourite Awards held, scheduled, last Sunday with popular comedian AY, rapper Freestyle and ace actor Jim Iyke emerging winners in the entertainment category.

The Award ceremony themed 'Media Literacy as a Tool of Positive Education' took place at the Victory Halls of Victory Grammar School in Ikeja, capital of the Centre of Excellence Lagos State.

The ceremony which kicked off around 4p.m witnessed a lot of teenage activities including choreograohy, dancing and some singing.

To the Awards proper, popular stand-up comedian AY was pronounced Teens Favourite Comedian of the year 2008...well good for him that even teenagers recognise his efforts. And he was there in person to receive the award and he expressed his gratitude...you know, the usual "thank yous".

Also, Jim Iyke was named the Actor of the year for the second time...seems he's found his way into the hearts of the teenagers.

Rap artiste Freestyle won the last of the awards in the entertainment category as the rap artisite of the year.

The event, supported by Bobo Food and Beverages, had scores of teenagers in attendance. According to the organisers, the winnners were gotten from about ten thousand (yep, 10,000) nominations by teenagers across the country.
