The position of Kevin Keegan at Newcastle has been cast in a cloud of doubt following a statement from the Magpies that the former England boss has not been sacked, a statement back by the League Managers' Association.
Notwithstanding, Keegan has stated his displeasure over his lack of transfer activities at the club with the exit of James Milner to Aston Villa and the arrival of Ignatio Gonzalez and Xisco, which was two less than the four promised to be brought in before transfer day deadline on Monday.
However, one manager in England's that is gone for sure is Alan Curbishley of London club West Ham United due to what he described as a lack of control over the transfer activities at Upton Park.
Recently, Anton Ferdinand was sold to Sunderland while Freddie Ljungberg, George McCartney, Nolberto Solano, Bobby Zamora, John Pantsil and Richard Wright have also left the club.
Curbishley joined West Ham from Charlton Athletic and has seen the club win two of its opening three matches in this season's Premier League.
