Victor Obinna Nsofor's move to Everton today failed after the Department of Work and Pensions in the United Kingdom denied the 21 year old a work permit, which was the only factor keeping the loan move from being sealed.
Nsofor, who won silver medal with Nigeria at the football event of the recently concluded Olympic Games, moved to Inter Milan from newly promoted Chievo Verona.
Inter Milan currently have Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Hernan Crespo and Julio Cruz ahead of Nsofor in the pecking order and a loan deal to Everton would have been ideal for the international; as three other Nigerians play at the club.
Meanwhile, Dickson Etuhu has sealed his move from Sunderland to Fulham while Solomon Okoronkwo has joined Russian side Saturn from Hertha Berlin.
