Here's a thought, you are quite good at dancing and you have just entered for this national dance competition where you stand the chance of winning N2.5m, a vehicle and other cool prizes. The catch however is, it's not just your dancing skills only that'll help you towards the star prize but also those of your family...

And so it is that one of Nigeria's foremost dance reality show, the Maltina Dance-All competition returns for a second season and will witness not just a lot of cool dance moves from the main entrants but a few interesting ones from their parents and siblings as well.

Competition though will soon begin in earnest but for now, we are watching highlights of the 2007 edition, which was won by Chukwuma Onye and his family, as well as a preview of this year's.

One thing that is common with the entrants this year was how early their dancing began; the part where you hear "well I've been dancing since I was in my mom's womb". All the better...  Dancing right from mommy's womb might perhaps you win....

Obviously when entrants where asked their aspirations, it was to win, though some were a bit more direct in expressing that than others; especially two ladies, one of whom came so we can "see her steps 'cos she's hot".

Y'all will recall that the dance contest made its debut last september with the Onye family going home with the star prize of 2 million naira and a branded car. The Olorunyomi and Martins-Ibi families came second and third respectively going home with the sums of One million naira and Five Hundred thousand naira in that order.

The Maltina Dance-All will involve 10 families competing for the title of Nigeria's best dancing family. The next few weeks will sure be interesting to follow.
