A new twist was added into the ongoing Football Challenge with FASH with the 'ballers taken to the Obstacle Course of the 242 Battalion Army Camp to go through some vigorous training to improve their fitness and endurance as well as toughen them up.

Also, the importance of team work was emphasised at the camp with Lieutenant Colonel Yerima, Commander of the Battalion stated that no man should be left behind though as footballers all they need is team work.

The obstacle course involved the 'ballers climbing a nine foot wall, climbing up a rope unaided, leaping over a ditch nine feet deep, swinging over a second ditch and swinging through a "mocking bridge"; picture the daily life of Tarzan.

The drill though proved very handy later when Fash FC came up against Olorogun Babes in the second match of the 'ballers.

The game was a gritty affair with neither side willing to budge and ultimately the encounter ended in a goalless draw, to the admiration of manager John Fashanu.

The 'ballers also visited Sidochem Industries, a pipe manufacturing assmebly. There they were taken through the processes of making accessories required in sporting facilities.
