Search has begun earnestly for  Nigeria's Next Super Model 2008. 23 young aspiring models  were selected from about a hundred and fifty young girls, after a rigorous screening process held at the Air Officer Mess Victoria Island recently. These  girls who will be in camp for the Reality Show, which will be aired in all TV stations from september 8, will consequently be reduced to 16, for the grand finale of Nigeria's Next Super Model.

It will be recalled that with the debut of the median edition of Nigeria’s Next Supper Model last year, came a change in the status of six young Nigerian Models and a revolution in  the model industry in Nigeria.   From  the winner of the first edition, Eunice Eyo, first runner up and Best Model of the World Bunmi Ademokoya, Isi Atagamen, Amaka Chira, Eno Akpan, Wunmi Ogunmodede, to the physically challenged model Esse Omene, (All  based in South Africa now) it has been one of business and  fun on the international  runway.

According to Mrs Joan Okorodudu, Originator of Nigeria’s Next Super Model, this year, all is now set to achieve the same feat, as the 2nd edition of the competition takes centre stage come  September 20, 2008, at the Nigeria’s Next Super Model Dome, at the Air Officers Mess Victoria Island Lagos.

Winner of this year’s competition, along with a car and cash prize, will represent Nigeria at the  Model of the World contest in Turkey , while first runner up will participate at the  Model of colour contest London, all holding later in the year.
