Search for Nigeria's Next Super Model Begins |

 Bunmi Ademokoya Search has begun earnestly for Nigeria's Next Super Model 2008. 23 young aspiring models were selected from about a hundred and fifty young girls, after a rigorous screening process held at the Air Officer Mess Victoria Island recently. These girls who will be in camp for the Reality Show, which will be aired in all TV stations from september 8, will consequently be reduced to 16, for the grand finale of Nigeria's Next Super Model.
It will be recalled that with the debut of the median edition of Nigeria’s Next Supper Model last year, came a change in the status of six young Nigerian Models and a revolution in the model industry in Nigeria. From the winner of the first edition, Eunice Eyo, first runner up and Best Model of the World Bunmi Ademokoya, Isi Atagamen, Amaka Chira, Eno Akpan, Wunmi Ogunmodede, to the physically challenged model Esse Omene, (All based in South Africa now) it has been one of business and fun on the international runway. According to Mrs Joan Okorodudu, Originator of Nigeria’s Next Super Model, this year, all is now set to achieve the same feat, as the 2nd edition of the competition takes centre stage come September 20, 2008, at the Nigeria’s Next Super Model Dome, at the Air Officers Mess Victoria Island Lagos. Winner of this year’s competition, along with a car and cash prize, will represent Nigeria at the Model of the World contest in Turkey , while first runner up will participate at the Model of colour contest London, all holding later in the year.  Bunmi Ademokoya Meanwhile, like a gazelle Bunmi Ademokoya strutted the runway at the Cape Town fashion Week held earlier this month. Bunmi has become one of the most desired models in SA, she has also been signed by an agency in Europe. She will be handing over her Model of the World crown in November in Turkey. She will be appearing alongside the other House of Jola models now Isis models Joburg at the South African Fashion Week coming up from the 27th to 31st August 2008. Nigerian Designers; House of Jola , Frank Osodi, Remi Lagos and Sole Thread will be showcasing at the Joburg fashion week this month.
