African China releases new video

African China

The first thing that stands out is his name: African China. Contrary to first assumptions there is no connection to China. His real name is Timothy Chinagorom Onuoha. African China is from the Igbo tribe in Nigeria and his Yoruba teacher was struggling to pronounce his name correctly so for simplicity’s case started calling him ‘China’. Later, when starting his music career and looking for a stage name, the ‘African’ was added. (There is also another way to read the name: African Children Have Ideas Natural for Africa.)

African China has been dubbed “the voice of the Nigerian masses” and from his lyrics, he represent the modern day Fela Kuti, who was well known for representing the poor masses of Nigeria, he also bagged the award as the best Reggae/dancehall act in Nigeria 2007, so he is the current king of dancehall from Nigeria.

African China has released the first video 'Forgive Me', from his new album "LONDON FEVER" currently making waves in the market. Watch it...

	Appreciation Yeah man,wat-ta guan? Infact,i want to personally thank U for de effort U're makin to let people realise themselves in de society today.De first day i listened to ur music i believed that actually,U're an Affrican child.All de way from Ikom in Cross River State I started to develope real luv for Ur music.Ur track ''crises'' basically made to visit Lagos to see things for myself.Affrican china,U're good.Anyway, I'm still in Lagos mayby before go back to Ikom,I'll like to see U in person.Ur music is good keep it up and God bless U.
