The young men picked from all over the football fields of Nigeria and trimmed down to 15 so far did their coach Ambassador John Fashanu proud with a comfortable 3-0 win over Lucky Babes in the team's first game since making the cut.

It had been a night of heartbreak and indescribable joy when the better were separated from the good 'ballers and if you did not know any song of praise or you only knew a few, the 'ballers that made the Final 15 especially Tolu Olaifa, Elijah Egberinde, Chuks Nkwocha, Chinedu Okezie and Dozie Nwaribeaku sure did justice to that as they went on and on with such vigour one would have thought they had won something quite big. Funny though, the real competition just started.

After a breather, the Football Challenge with Fash is back and will be showing on local television in Nigeria on Saturday and Sunday nights only unlike before when it was shown every night.

Back to the Challenge, the 'ballers were taken out to visit a few media organisations including Minaj Broadcast International (MBI), This Day Newspapers, The Sun, City People among others and the 'ballers received various degree of commendations from their hosts.

The commendations however was justified on the field of play where the final 15, now known as FASH FC, played against a local academy Lucky Babes to test their progress so far in the Challenge.

And the 'ballers did not disappoint with Aminu Yahaya putting FASH FC ahead in the first half before Uche Anunobi and Musa Joseph with identical second half goals sealed an impressive victory. Anunobi is son of a former ex-international.

The game was a bit physical as well with FASH FC's Jonathan Zikiye needing to be stiched up after a clash of heads with an opposing player left him bleeding profusely and may now not feature in the next match.

Zikiye's injury sees him join Okezie Chinedu as players to have bled on the field of play with Okezie losing a whole tooth and half of another when he was hit by the chin of teammate Elijah Egberinde earlier in the Challenge.
