ImageNigerian telecommunications giant, MTN in conjunction with SoundCity has commenced this year's edition of its musical show tagged MTN/Soundcity Campus Blast.

The campus blast was launched last year to deliver on the promise MTN made to its 'extra-cool package' subscribers during the product's re-launch that it would "deliver unlimited enjoyment of music through exclusive access to top rate nigerian and international artistes via live concerts".

The blast featured upcoming acts in last year's edition which spanned ten university campuses across the country alongside major acts like D'banj, Tu Face and Styl Plus.

This year, the package has been slightly improved upon with the inclusion of the fashion and modelling segments to further improve students' participation in the show.

So far, the campus blast train has blasted three campuses including those of the University of Calabar, University of Nigeria and, just last thursday, the University of Ado-Ekiti.

P-Square, 9ice, Comedian AY and DJ Poska have been leading the musical assault on the Nigerian campuses.

The Universities of Abuja and Jos are the next on the list in the coming week. Other Universities to be visited by the campus blast train are: University of Lagos, University of Maiduguri, University of Ilorin and University of Benin.
