The Radical-wives Called Mothers

Not all wives are mothers. The concept of calling any wife a mother could be as a result of the age-long tradition that confers on a woman the tittle of a mother as soon as she is married to a man and was able to conceive and breed children, by the help of the man’s whitish fluid. Not all Nigerian wives are mothers! Mothers in Nigeria know themselves and they do not make noise because they know their obligations. Not all these ones who slap their husbands and even hangout with some men far younger than their children.

Today, the radical-wives called mothers are becoming pariahs when it comes to the tradition of breastfeeding the infant child. No one is asking them not to breastfeed their infant children. If there were any person, they would have cried foul and blue murder that they are being asked to stop one of the fundamental features of women, and many NGOs would have swarm with long letters to the international community condemning the perpetrator that had asked the mothers not to breast feed their infant children; because they are women?

The radical-wives called mothers are just doing that evil to their selves, thinking that they were at the gain of anything. Can anyone cheat nature?

It was not a problem in the days before, when our fathers were born. Mothers were breastfeeding their children and were just happy doing that anywhere, anytime, except that the child did not cry, indicating that he or she wanted food – which’s the breastfeed. Not milk!

In the days referred here, when a nursing mother left an infant child at home to somewhere and the child begins to cry, other women in the neighbourhood would be anxious of where the mother of the child went to, knowing that what the child was crying was breastfeed. If the woman was coming back as at the time the women gathered, you see these women tongue lash the woman for leaving the child for hours, thereby depriving the infant child his or her fundamental child’s rights. And the woman would begin to apologise to her child and to the women and even thank them if they broke her door, in a case where the child was locked inside the room. And that was how a mother is supposed to behave owing to the psychological and spiritual trauma her absence may have caused the child.

This milk from the breasts nourishes the infant or young child than any other alternated suppliment. How could a wife who called herself a mother cheat her baby from the sucking reflex that enables the baby to suck and swallow milk? It is wise for a mother to breastfeed the child for the first six months.. If possible, it should be longer, without the infant formula milk or solid food.

The above has shown that some of the present wives called mothers do not like their children. As a kid, don’t argue this, dad once said that his contemporaries, it was a common phinomenon that even young children in the primary school were leaving school for home during break hours to suck breast. And any child who was not behaving the way supposed of a human being, others would say to the child’s face: “Did you suck your mothers breast well?”

That culture seems to be fading today. The rascal-wives among the genuine Nigerian mothers today do not know that their breast-milk is the best source of nourishment for human infants? They do not know that the breast-milk prevents disease, promotes health and reduces health care costs?

It is a taboo for a mother to starve her infant child breast-milk both before God and man, except in situations where the mother is taking certain drugs. Another is if infected with tuberculosis or (HIV). Do the Nigerian radical-wives called mothers not know that it was said that both in the developing and developed countries, artificial feeding is associated with more deaths from diarrhoea in infants? They will pretend not knowing this? Where they are fighting for the devilish-undefined agenda called, “Gender egaliterainism”.

It was not the Nigerian men who said this. It was was the WHO, that recommends that a minimum of two years of breastfeeding for the infant child and exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life. If it were the Nigerian men that said that, these radical-wives called mothers would have reminded Nigerians another devilish axiomic agenda, “What a man can do a woman will even do more better”. And people are watching.

The Nigerian radical-wives called mothers can even contact the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) which recommends at least one year of breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life, if the Nigerian mothers can’t cope with the instructions by the WHO. Are the Nigerian adical-wives called mothers not crying of mortality high rate in the country? But they are the cause of the maternity death problems because they do not apply the natural rule of exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life.

The Nigerian rascal-wives called mothers are avoiding to breastfeed their infant children so that their breasts do not sag? Are they oblivious that there are gains associated with breastfeeding? Has a study at the University of Wisconsin not found that women who were breast fed in infancy may have a lower risk of developing breast cancer than those who were not breastfed? And the avoidance of breastfeeding the modern-day children could be why the epidemic called breast cancer is rampant today. Less Diabetes mellitus, less Atopy, less Celiac disease are other benefits of children who are extensively breastfed.

Breast milk include several anti-infective factors such protecting against microorganisms and make the child immune effective. Do they not know that babies with a specific variant of the FADS2 gene (approximately 90% of all babies) demonstrate an IQ an average of 7 points higher if breastfed?
And, perhaps, because the today’s children are fed with milk from cow could be why many behave like uncultured beings. There are a lot of benefits from breast-milk for the child that was well-fed. But who cares!

If a married woman does not want her breast to sag, as many of them have said was why they refrain from breastfeeding their infant children, then what is the creation and need of a woman consecrating her breasts? The breast is there to feed the child. It is because of how precious the breast is, that even the married men still long to suck the breast of their wives even when it does not produce at that time.
