One of the newest songs in town these days is ‘Originality’. It’s already all over radio stations in the country and guess what…it is also one of the tracks that would be launched in Faze’s new album with the same title.
A little about the track…it simply shows us that the tiny frame of its source notwithstanding, the guy’s got big dreams. Big dreams? Yeah, he wants to be remembered like Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, Wole Soyinka and other accomplished Nigerians. “una go halla my name one day”, so says he. The launch party is billed to take place on the 4th of October at Planet One in Maryland. As is currently the norm amongst Nigerian artistes who can afford to , Faze, as we gathered, is presently in the United States to shoot the videos for the new album... that’s a good topic for a forum discussion. I mean, Nigeria is the largest country in the whole of Africa and our artistes can’t find good enough sceneries for their music videos. According to Faze’s manager, they are still trying to trim down the number of tracks to go into the album. It has about twenty songs currently.
