The race is not to the swift neither is the battle to the strong…. No one would claim to be unfamiliar with that line. That was exactly what played out in the final stages of the search for The Lost Chronicle in the just concluded Gulder Ultimate Search V.
Just as it occurred in some of the past editions of the search, a more strong looking Frank Adamu got to the site of the hidden treasure first and perfectly played out the saying; 'The more you look, the less you see'. All this while, Mike who eventually found the treasure was still battling across the final rope bridge to the site. Having unearthed The Lost Chronicle, Michael Nwachukwu becomes the fifth Ultimate Man taking over from last year's Dominic Mudabai. He is expected to surrender the 'now found' chronicle in an event holding tonight in exchange for N7m cash prize, a brand new SUV and N500,000 wardrobe allowance. The final episode of the show {last night} started with three hopefuls; Frank, Michael and the Last Woman standing, Linda. Linda was the first out, confirming her status as the last woman standing. Naturally, the guys outran her and that sealed place as the last woman standing which brings with it an extra cash prize of N2m extra. The show got particularly tension-soaked during the final search when Frank wandered about thoughtlessly while Mike thought things out on his feet. Last night brings an end to three weeks of explosive adventure of television…one can only look forward to the next edition. I can bet my finger on this…you won't get to miss your TV too much, there are more reality shows to come. See ya. Quote this article on your site | Print | E-mail
