Bottom row(right): Titi. 'Cute'...it was cute in that it celebrated the birthday of one of Soundcity's Vjs, Titi Fanta as she is widely know...she has one less year to live...that's the truth. Also the party promoted the Ankara fabric as dress code was Ankara although a significant number of the guests didn't adhere to it. Those who did, made the occasion unique in its own way. Have you ever been to a night club where you get to see about 50 guests putting on ankara? Even yours sincerely had to dig to the bottom of his wardrobe to call to duty his long forgotten Ankara fabric...just to fit in. The Ankara stuff party prepare the way for the 2008 Ankara Festival to be held at a later date.  Okamigbo and Titi The party, held at K's Place n Victoria Island, started a little past midnight with the usual red carpet stuff. Thanks to those lil' gadgets of technology, almost everbody took everbody else's photograph. The birthday celebrant and her friends gave those smiles they hoard from guys so willingly to the cameras' lightings. Even Franklin Okamigbo, CEO of Papas Entertainment, was not left out ot the mad rush for pictures and of course, everly mad, Denrele. Red carpet done with, the train of guests moved to the VIP lounge of the event venue and without much ado, the celebrations started. Of course, there was a litle birthday gig for the celebrant, you know, the usual birthday stuffs which was followed by a lot of posings with the birthday cake before it was eventually dismantled.  As expected, it was dance, dance, dance all through except for the live performance of star musical act and producer, OJB Jezreel. He did his hit track, "Pretete" in a scintillating performance that left not a few persons filled with awe. Y'all can look forward to an interview with Jezreel in the nearest future.The VIP lounge venue of the party was filled to capacity with guests for the event who all partied to the wee hours of Sunday morning. The party wound up around 5 a.m. Viewers across the country will get to see clips from the event on Soundcity and Showtime Africa, of course, that is after you have read this piece and seen the pictures whilst their recordings are been edited in the studios.
