Phyna out, Gulder Ultimate man emerges tonight

Whatever has a beginning, they say, ultimately has an end. Just as the fifth edition of the gulder ultimate search began about three weeks ago, it would reach a definite conclusion in Friday night's edition of the show.

Thursday night saw the eventual eviction of one of the four standing wannabes. With the conclusion of meetings at the place of the talking drum two episodes ago, the contestants had to pack their belongings from their camp to embark on an overnight 'journey to nowhere' on the hills. They slept in some open space on the hills.

Their task wasn't too difficult though...they continued their journey after their rest until they discovered some clues which told them they were on the right track. After a brief encounter with the presenter who told them to go solo, they were instructed to "Follow this path and meet on the other side".

So the race against time began...Mike after scaling all obstacles got to the presenter first. Listen to this...Phyna made it to the last barrier before Frank and Linda but she couldn't go through the barrier. Why? she, as the unofficial mother of the house, was carry the remainder of their food items.

In essence, she got to the presenter last and that was it. Anyways, that means Linda is the last woman standing. It also means we are at the final stage of the search.

With Linda, Frank and Mike still left in the search...I know the whole of womanhood would be praying for Linda to win. Well, no one knows what the next few hours hold for the contestants.

Tonight is the night, when the ultimate man or woman shall emerge.
