     According to him, Globacom still remains a sponsor of the Nigerian national teams; a statement that was hailed by officials of the telecommunications giants. It would be recalled that the NFF signed a four year contract with candy makers TomTom to become the official candy of the Super Eagles. The deal, worth N40m a year would see TomTom giving $3,000 to the best Super Eagles player of every match starting with Chidi Odiah in the 2010 World and Nations Cup qualifiers.
