At the end of its 185th National Working Committee meeting held at the National Secretariat in Abuja, the Peoples Democratic Party dissolved the Executive Committee of the Party's Anambra Chapter.
The Party also dissolved Executives at all wards and local Governments in the State as part of moves to restore peace for all stakeholders in the State.
Other decisions reached at the end of the NWC meeting saw the endorsement of Senator Ibrahim Nasir Mantu as the Party's candidate in the re-run election for the Senatorial Seat of Plateau Central District.
The Cross River State Governor Liyel Imoke was also reaffirmed as the Party's candidate in the forthcoming re-run of the Gubernatorial election in the State. The Election Tribunal had recently nullified Ohakim's election.
