Controversy Over Uvwie Leadership Coninues |

The battle for the leadership of Uvwie kingdom continues to drag with HRM Emmanuel Sideso, Abe 1 (JP) been asked by the Eruowho family ruling house of the Ovwie kingdom to stop presenting himself as the ruler of the land.
In the same vein, Chief David Atiyota Egere who was said to be suspended as Regent contradicted that statement by the traditional council of elders, stating he was Regent until the process of appointing a monarch in the land was complied with. According to the Eruowho family in a statement, a High Court judgement has voided HRM Emmanuel Sideso, Abe 1 (JP) as ruler along with some chieftancy titles bestowed on some natives of the kingdom. The statement also added that the judgement restored Egere as the Regent of the kingdom and urged him to run affairs in the land with wisdom until the rightful king (Ovie) is appointed.
