UBA Donates Security Equipment to Imo State |

The United Bank for Africa (UBA) has donated five Toyota Hilux security vehicles fully fitted with modern communication gadgets and 200 walkie-talkies to the Imo State Government in an effort to fight crime in the State.
In presenting the items to the Imo State Governor, Deputy Managing Director South of the Bank Phillips Oduoza stated the gesture was in reponse to the Government's call for corporate bodies to support it in combating crime.
In his response, Governor Ikedi Ohakim commended UBA for their gesture just as he made known the Bank's intent to partner the State in developing the Oguta Lake Tourist Resort as well as handle the beautification of some key locations in the State.
The security equipment worth several millions of Naira brings to five the number of States that have benefitted from UBA so far in its quest to aid the Police in responding to disterss calls and fighting crimes.
