     Last night's show began with clips from the premier edition of the search reminding the audience of how the winner emerged - there were three finalists...ironically, the fastest runner amongst them who got to the site of the hidden treasure later stood with arms akimbo to watch the eventual winner celebrate his victory. Permit me to skip to the most interesting part of the show - the clips of the screening exercise in Lagos...mehn, it was pretty funny. You can pretty well imagine what happens when someone as 'thin' as the famous wrestler, Yokozuna comes for a screening exercise that includes running, squatting and other strength sapping exercises...well, go ahead and picture the result yourself. A guy caught my attention in the midst of the exercise. He was about halfway through the second lap when his legs suddenly gave way underneath his body...for the sake of the money at stake, he tried getting up thrice but I tell you, he got medical attention right on that spot. Two girls were asked to run about a hundred metres to pick a single ball...the first gets to pick it. As it turned out, the first girl to get to the ball picked the ball and let it slip off her hands and, the second girl slipped and fell on the ball and she won...what a lucky girl she was. Anyways, the show continued to the camp of the final 40 contestants where a final test of the strength of the wannabes was conducted...the show wil As it turned out later in the screening stages, the contestants would all need some luck to scale through.
