Kidnap of Delta SSG's Father Condemned

Gubernatorial aspirant in Delta State Sunny Onuesoke has condemned the kidnap of Chief Arthur Okowa, the father of the Secretary to the Delta State Government and has implored on the abductors to release him unhurt.

According to Onuesoke, the Delta SSG is a peace loving man and so is his father, so the news of the kidnap came as a shock to him, adding that he could not understand why kidnapping is coming into Delta when the State Government is trying hard to consolidate its peace and security agenda.

He asked the abductors to kindly listen to reason, adding that whatever issue that already existed could have been sorted out without resorting to kidnapping the SSG's father.
