Enyimba Begins Champions League Quest in Sudan |

Two time African champions Enyimba of Aba will open their 2008 CAF Champions League account with a Group B fixture away to Sudanese champions Al-Hilal on Friday night in Khartoum.
Ahead of the encounter, the Aba Elephants have appointed former Super Eagles coaches Austin Eguavoen and Ike Shorunmu as Chief Coach and Goalkeeper Trainer respectively to assist Technical Adviser Maurice Cooreman.
The star match of the weekend however will take place in Cairo where African club of the century; last century that is, Al-Ahly take on their fiercest rivals Zamalek on Sunday in Group A.
Zamalek recently bolstered their squad with the signing of Ghanaian international striker Junior Agogo from Notthingham Forest though Egyptian striker Amr Zaki is likely to be unavailable as he is close to signing for Wigan Athletic in England.
Both Al-Ahly and Zamalek have won the CAF Champions League five times apiece with Zamalek's last triumph coming back in 2002 while Al-Ahly won the 2006 edition before losing their bid for a record third consecutive title against Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel.
The other Group A encounter, also on Sunday, would see 1998 champions ASEC Mimosas travel to Harare Zimbabwe to tackle Dynamos while the other encounter in Group B sees Gombe United's conquerors Coton Sport of Cameroun host TP Mazembe of DR Congo on Saturday.
