Despite the success that has been reported in certain quarters across the world, there remains a real danger that can only be tackled through positive messages and an intensified fight from all corners. POSITIVE RUNWAY – Catwalk to Stop the Spread, is a global HIV/AIDS response campaign aimed at sensitising and educating the public by raising awareness to various issues affecting the young generation such as sexual responsibility and the spread of HIV/AIDS.

The campaign will work with beauty queens, models, fashion designers and music artists in collaboration with celebrities from fashion, film, music, television, sport and other arts, as effective advocates in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

“In the 21st century, the young generation is obsessed with celebrity worship and most young people are easily influenced by people in the social limelight such as movies stars, music artistes, models and beauty queens. POSITIVE RUNWAY will use the allure of models, fashion designers, music artists and other celebrities to shout out the message to ‘STOP THE SPREAD’!, says Justina Mutale, Founder of POSITIVE RUNWAY.
