POSITIVE RUNAWAY - Catwalk to Stop the Spread, has been initiated as a breaking point towards educating and informing the public of ways and means to prevent and stop the spread of HIV/AIDS. This ground breaking phenomenal campaign is set to be launched in the UK during the Channel ”O” Stop the Spread UK Road Show on the 17 of May 2008 at the TROXY, 490 Commercial Road, London E1 0HX.

Despite the success that has been reported in certain quarters across the world, there remains a real danger that can only be tackled through positive messages and an intensified fight from all corners. POSITIVE RUNWAY – Catwalk to Stop the Spread, is a global HIV/AIDS response campaign aimed at sensitising and educating the public by raising awareness to various issues affecting the young generation such as sexual responsibility and the spread of HIV/AIDS.
The campaign will work with beauty queens, models, fashion designers and music artists in collaboration with celebrities from fashion, film, music, television, sport and other arts, as effective advocates in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
