Bunmi Ademokoya of House of jola models captured the hearts of many when she was crowned Best Model of the World, at the model contest held last December in far away China. Today, the 14th of March, two months after she won the prestigious title, she will make her first fashion week debut at this year's Sanlam SA Fashion Winter Collections taking place from Friday 14–15 March at Museum Africa, Johannesburg.

After a week of serious screening, with over 20 white, black and asian models from different parts of Africa, anxious for a chance at the SA fashion week, these Nigerian models soared high at the casting for the show which began last Monday march 2nd at the Design District, Rosebank venue of the screening. The models accompained by Joan Okorodudu project initiator of the Next Nigeria's Super model and owner house of Jola models, arrived South Africa early monday morning (casting day) They were quite on time for the screening which began at 9am and ended at 4pm with breaks in betwen casting sessions.

Bunmi who has been casted for seven shows in the fashion week, is also penciled to open the show for one of the designers; Ramatla Lebo. She will also strutt the runway in designs of Artistic Soul and Imgrad Mkhabela and four other designers.

Other House of Jola Models also strutting the runway at the Sanlem SA fashion week include Eunice Eyo; winner of Next Nigeria's Super model 2007, Isy Atagamen, Esse Omene and Omashola Oburoh, the only male model in the group

At present over30 participating South African designers are busy with last-minute preparations for the opening of the show which will feature collections of some of the country's most creative designers including Miss Scalet, Zealous, Guillotine, Superella, Ramatla, Mkhabel Artistic Soul amongst others. With its mixture of African and Western heritage the SA fashion week has been tagged the perfect venue to show off the talents and versatility of young South African Designers.

Watch out for these girls strutting the romp in collections of some top South African and desginers at the Sanlem SA fashion week begining this Friday the Museum Africa, Johannesburg.
