Job Description	Operation Develop and maintain an understanding of the business application of IT in the business functions and their partners through an in-depth understanding of these functions and their processes Ensure delivery of the project portfolio through effective planning and resource management prioritization Ensure adherence to Global IT standards and a common project management methodology Leadership Develop subordinates into world class IT resources with a competency based development plan Develop the Business IT strategy in partnership with business management and IT Director Management Assist the FITM in helping the business ensure compliance of business application portfolio with functional global best practices Facilitate the management and prioritisation of business-wide projects and processes Ensure delivery of the project portfolio through effective planning and resource management prioritisation Innovation Continuously seek ways of enabling technologies and best practices within and outside the BAT Group Seek opportunities to leverage on existing systems within and outside the immediate end market for solutions to business needs with modifications to suit specific needs Relationship Management of the business relationship with internal/external IT suppliers Works with job holders in the business to understand and implement change in business practice based on a defined strategy. Qualifications	Knowledge, Skills & Experience * Degree in related discipline with 3-5 years of FMCG business and business facing IT experience * Ability to contribute to business strategy and decisions at senior management levels * Proven track record in definition of an IT strategy through influencing senior business management towards a step change of the business. * Very good level of knowledge across the business regarding best practice. * Resource management skills including proven track record in prioritising resources for business need * Ability to communicate effectively, formally and informally with senior levels of management. * Influencing and Negotiation Skills * Career Drive and Commitment * People Management and Leadership
